loading without stopping

after clicked the Start Now button, an empty space shows up a boostrap box saying initializing / loadnig ui components / core api... but it never stops... can't load at all.
have tried hitting reload button, didn't help
btw, the boostrap box is at the upper left hand corner, not at the center as normally seen
why?

pls empty your browser cache and try again
That means you hit on a very rare caching problem: your browser is using an old version of client-side SB codes to talk to a new version of our server-side codes.
We have set, at our server end, to ask browsers to fetch the latest copy of client-side codes every now and then to make sure your browser will get the right codes to run.
Solution:
Clear your browser cache and restart SB.
Symptom recap:
The system keeps saying it is loading the components / core api / initialising, but it never finishes; neither the project environment would load successfully.
And the status box would very often show on the upper left hand corner indefinitely.
