Defining Text Objects

For those database objects not yet represented diagrammatically under SchemaBank, you can define them under the Text Objects tab.

Clicking on a particular type of database object on the menu bar will show all defined objects under that category.

Adding a Text Object

To add a new object definition, click on the New button, followed by the OK button after you have finished entering the SQL statements.

Note that the name you give to an object is just an identifier used inside SchemaBank^TM. It won't get output to the corresponding SQL statements.

Renaming a Text Object

To rename the name identifier, simply change the Name field and click on the OK button.

Removing a Text Object

Selecting the Delete button from the menu bar will remove a text object.
